Individual Education Plan (IEP)
Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) are developed for all students in collaboration with families and providers. IEP interviews are held in term one for students in grades 1- 6 and in term two for kindergarten students. Individual literacy and numeracy goals are developed to align with the National Literacy and Numeracy Learning Progressions.
When your child’s IEP goals are achieved new IEP goals will replace them. When literacy and numeracy goals are achieved teachers are guided by the National Literacy and Numeracy Learning Progressions to identify new goals. A collaborative action planning process is used to determine goals. See below.
