Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Scripture
Peakhurst Public School offers the following religion classes each Tuesday morning 9.20-10am. The classes are taught by approved representatives from their religious groups.
- Combined Protestant - Anglican, Uniting, Presbyterian, Baptist, Assemblies of God
- Roman Catholic
- Greek Orthodox
- Islamic Council of NSW - Shia
We also have Ethics classes for each stage where volunteers are available.
Students in other religious groups attend Non-Scripture, where students are supervised by a class teacher while quietly reading or drawing.
Students will be placed into their group based on details provided by parents on the Enrolment Form.
Canteen

Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

Uniform shop
All PPS uniforms are available through Claudine Schoolwear at Revesby.
There are now two ways to purchase uniforms:
1. Visit Claudine Schoolwear shop Claudine Schoolwear is located at 6/133 The River Road, Revesby NSW 2212. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, and Sat 9am to 1pm. Should you wish to contact Claudine Schoolwear, their phone number is 9773 8291.
2. Order Online
Parents can also find the Peakhurst Public School online shop by going to the Claudine Schoolwear website (www.claudineschoolwear.com.au) and clicking on the ‘Online Shop’ tab and then clicking on ‘Peakhurst Public School’.

Summer uniform is worn in Term 1 and Term 4.
Winter uniform is worn in Term 2 and Term 3.

Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
