Stories and highlights

There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

My son has always enjoyed school for learning, social and the amazing environment provided. Peakhurst is versatile and he flourishes with the many interests he has. The school assists in helping to provide a wide balance across the many learning areas. Sport, art and chess for example. — a parent of Peakhurst Public School

ANZAC Day Commemorative Service

We are incredibly proud of our students for the respect and deep reflection shown during our ANZAC Day assembly. It was a truly moving occasion, as we came together as a school community to honour and remember the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Each class thoughtfully created and laid their own wreaths, which were nothing short of amazing. These beautiful tributes reflected the care and gratitude our students have for the significance of ANZAC Day.

We extend a very special thank you to Max Britton, Secretary of Oatley RSL Sub-Branch, for taking the time to join us and share such a meaningful and insightful address with our students. Your words helped deepen our understanding and appreciation of this important day.

Hat Parade Highlights!

Our students truly outdid themselves in this year’s Hat Parade, showcasing an incredible range of imaginative designs—from whimsical and wacky to elegant and eye-catching. Each hat told its own story, reflecting the effort, personality, and fun spirit of our school community. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and celebrating together.
