Learning and support

At Peakhurst Public School, we believe every student has the ability to learn, grow and achieve, and we are committed to creating the conditions for every child to thrive. Our approach to learning combines high expectations with engaging, evidence-informed teaching that responds to the strengths, needs and aspirations of every student.

We know that successful learning goes hand in hand with wellbeing, belonging and strong relationships, which is why we provide a range of support to help students feel confident, connected and ready to learn. From developing the skills and confidence of students learning English as an additional language or dialect, to extending and challenging high potential and gifted learners, we work to ensure every student is recognised, supported and encouraged to reach their potential.

Through our dedicated staff, inclusive practices and whole-school approach, we create a learning environment where every child can discover their strengths, embrace challenges and take pride in their progress.
